●世界最大級のアートフォーラムDesign Miami "Designer of the Year 2007"の受賞に伴い、12月6日から9日までアメリカのマイアミにて、吉岡徳仁の展覧会が開催されました。

展覧会では、約200万本のストローを使った"TORNADO"(トルネード)と題したインスタレーションを発表しました。その様子が海外の多くのインターネットのサイトで紹介されています。

●At Design Miami, one of the greatest art forum in the world, Tokujin Yoshioka has been received the honor of “Designer of the year 2007”. The special exhibition of Tokujin Yoshioka has been held in Miami, USA from December 6th to 9th.

At the exhibition, Tokujin did a special installation “TORNADO” with using 2 millions of straws. It has been also reported at many website of overseas.

It has been a great honor to receive such a wonderful award. I received a lot of heartwarming message from everyone. Thank you, and that encouraged me a lot more than you would imagine.
