TōFU

YAMAGIWA

As its name implies, this lamp takes its inspiration from Japanese cuisine. While the resulted cuisine, tofu, is as simple and pure as it could possibly be, immense time and effort is put in the preparation of its material.

TōFU is not merely a lamp, but a design of perception of light.

In 2005, TōFU became part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
