TōFU

YAMAGIWA

As its name implies, this lighting product takes its inspiration from Japanese cuisine.
At the basis of the TōFU concept is the immense amount of work that goes into the preparation of the material, in order to create as simple and pure result as possible.
In this case, the effect is as if Tokujin has designed not a light fixture, but light itself.
In 2005, TōFU became part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
