Boing

Driade

The concept of 'Soft Boing' was for a paper cushion made with aramid honeycomb, a special material used in aircraft wings and space shuttles.Chosen for its high elasticity, it enabled the creation of this paper sofa that functioned like a spring.

It was then developed into a chair called 'Boing.'
Boing was launched by Driade at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in 2005.
Using innovative technology, the pleated leather covering creates air between the sitter's body and the chair to reduce friction or sweat. The result is a chair with such natural comfort that it functions almost like the surface of human skin.
