S.F chair

TOKUJIN YOSHIOKA x LG : S.F_Senses of the Future

To the future -

As children, we freely imagined the future, and we dreamed - in a poetic world, migrating freely between the now and our unknown destiny.

Throughout the long history of design, the chair has been endlessly reimagined, to the point that it has become an iconic piece. Now, thanks to technological advancement, design has transformed from a mere material form into something that can embrace the human senses.

The S.F chair presented during Milano Design Week is a futuristic creation, fusing natural light and technology. Bifacial (double-sided) OLED digital signage, just 15 mm in thickness, is the result of LG's cutting edge technology, created to realize a natural-looking chair which illuminates a tapestry of light, transcending human senses, thus metamorphosing into a perfect symbol of the new age.
