The flagship store of A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE, “A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE / AOYAMA,” opened at the FROM-1st building in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

The spatial design and installation were created by Tokujin Yoshioka.

A metal wall, symbolizing the industrial character of the space, is finished with a special plating treatment that forms a black crystalline coating on the surface of iron.
The unique texture created by the black crystals gives the hard, industrial material an organic, almost natural expression, creating a monochromatic space with a sense of depth.
