Award Monument for Toyota

Toyota Award Monument designed by Tokujin Yoshioka

An award monument featuring a sculptural form derived from Toyota’s logo.
Toyota’s emblem is extruded into a cylindrical form and then machined into a triangular pyramid. Through this process, the logo is transformed into a three-dimensional object, giving rise to a symbolic form.

The material used is recycled aluminum that was originally used in Toyota vehicles, embodying both the spirit of craftsmanship and a commitment to sustainability.

The “light” emanating from within symbolizes Toyota’s enduring spirit. Its radiance expresses the idea that these values continue to shine and connect to the future.
